She began working at a veterinary clinic when she was 16 and has never looked back! While she loves all animals, Dr. Van Wyk has a soft spot in her heart for the feline persuasion. She enjoys earning cats’ trust and managing their unique medical needs.
Dr. Van Wyk lives outside of Pella with her husband, Jeremy, their 3 children, Gillian, Gracyn and Jeryn, and their 5 cats and 1 dog. When she is not at work, you will find her cheering on her children at one of their many extra-curricular activities.

Terrance
FEO (Feline Executive Officer)
Terrance is our FEO. He came to us as a feral stray. The ladies here quickly saw his potential and Terrance has never left the building!
Terrance has made our office his home. He is now comfortable roaming around the entire clinic. He can be quite demanding and will often ask to be petted or have attention paid to him. Terrance has made a lot of new friends and looks forward to greeting people when they come into the clinic. He provides much love and entertainment to our staff.

Allie
Junior FEO (Feline Executive Officer)
Help us to welcome Allie to the staff. She is learning the ropes from Terrance, our FEO. Allie came to us as a stray. She was completely feral, but one look at her adorable face and we were all smitten. We slowly gained her trust and knew she was where she was meant to be.
Allie is still a little shy around new people, but she loves dogs! So you may see her peeking around the corner or trying to come and see your dog.
